Technologies

There are four different types of techology available in the game.

Army technology

Better technology levels lead to decrease movement costs for Armies and Tanks. Having the highest Armies technology can lead to having an extra die in combat. Tanks may be bought in build once a Superpower has achieved the level required as set in the game parameters.

Naval technology

Better technology levels lead to decrease movement costs for Navies. Having the highest Naval technology can lead to having an extra die in combat. Boomers may be bought in build once a Superpower has achieved the level required as set in the game parameters.

Strategic technology

Nuclear weapons become available at the level dictated when the in the game parameters. Each L-Stars receives three + a strategic technology defense slots.

At level 5, it becomes possible to attack Nuked or Neutroned territories and re-claim them.

Resource technology

Extra storage space for minerals, oil and grain can be bought at the rate of 1 per techology level per turn, up to a maximum of 36 storage spaces. Extra minerals, oil and grain will be recived for each techology level where one or more companies are paid for that resource.

Espionage technology

Having higher Espionage tech levels than opponents allows you to "spy" onother Superpowers. Espionage techs can be bought up to level 20. Espionage techs can be affected by Fortuna.
